Vegetable oil is a fatty, creamy and thick material, often liquid at room temperature and which is insoluble in water, oils consist of lipids formed from triglycerides composed of fatty acid molecules esterified by glycerol (a molecule of 'alcohol). They are major components of the energy of the human body, because fat provides calories in large numbers.
